Yeah, these tracks are phenomenal! I like that they’ve been relatively untouched as far as the recordings go. They sound clearer and brighter for sure. Super impressed!
It’s hard to pick favorites, especially during the early years, but Crown of Scars and Storm have me so excited. That electric guitar in Storm is so haunting and raw it completely makes the song in my opinion. Plus the younger sounding vocals adds a touch of innocence to the track that is lost in the WWA release.

Strange how the Time Machine has stalled for a while… any idea what’s up with it? It was cool hearing Crown of Scars in high quality, would love the rest!
Jason hinted a while back that the vinyl for the remastered diff’s lucky day was currently being pressed, so my guess is that we won’t get any more of these tracks from the Time Machine. But hopefully I’m wrong. Maybe the vinyl will be available at his upcoming solo shows? I guess we’ll see next Saturday.
Agreed! It’s my favorite from that record. I love supporting him but it’s really been silent which kind of blows. Even some behind-the-scenes/updates in a blog fashion would be nice. Doesn’t always have to be a track/video.
Yes agree. I stopped subscribing from a while ago because of this. And releases on the Time Machine now are only once a week now compared to twice before this. There are also things which doesn’t really interest me like guitar giveaway.
Maybe he doesn’t have much old demo to be released? But if I remember correctly, during OOTW era, he worked over >60songs. I would love to hear all, if not most of those songs.
I asked Jason on his IG whether there are still demo/unreleased tracks planned? He still there’ll be more next year. I guess time to resubscribe once those tracks are released.
Jason mentioned on Instagram that he is indeed working on a deluxe Diff’s Lucky Day. He mentioned that it will feature reimagined versions of songs like The Edge, You Can Shake the Mountains, and Joshua. And it sounds like he’s going to do live acoustic videos for those songs as well.
